Chief Executive Officer, Association of African American Financial Advisors (Quad-A)
Sheena Gray serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Association of African American Financial Advisors (Quad-A), where she leads with a bold vision for equity, access, and impact across the financial services industry. Appointed in 2024, Sheena has quickly positioned Quad-A as a nationally respected platform for Black financial advisors, corporate accountability, and industry-wide advocacy.
A seasoned executive with more than two decades of experience in corporate financial services, Sheena brings deep expertise in risk mitigation, compliance, DEI strategy, and operational transformation. She holds an MBA in Management from DePaul University and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology of Law. Her background includes leading global KYC, cybersecurity, and HR diversity functions for top-tier firms, where she built scalable solutions across regulatory, risk, and talent ecosystems.
Sheena has been named one of Barron’s Top 10 Leaders to Watch in 2025 and one of Financial Planning’s Top 25 People Shaping the Future of Advice, a reflection of her growing influence and thought leadership across the profession.
In her current role, Sheena is focused on building long-term sustainability and relevance for Quad-A. She led the organization’s rebranding and digital transformation, introduced operational safeguards, and expanded Quad-A’s footprint into the policy space—including organizing the association’s first Capitol Hill Advocacy Day in partnership with the Financial Services Institute.
Her leadership philosophy is grounded in transparency, accountability, and the belief that diverse talent deserves both access and investment.
Outside of her professional life, Sheena is a proud mother of six and finds balance through golfing, skiing, and family adventures. She brings that same commitment to balance, resilience, and joy into her leadership of Quad-A and its growing national community.
